Fashionistas enjoyed the W Hollywood’s Spring Shopping Bazaar.
Living in the land of angels, Los Angeles produces lots of events throughout the year that come with uniquely special perks like Gifting Suites. Often, these Gifting Suites aren’t open to the public, which just doesn’t seem quite fair. Why shouldn’t everyone be allowed access to some really cool swag? This past weekend, the W Hollywood Hotel held their first-annual Spring Shopping Bazaar completely open to the public! All that was required was a RSVP.
The Spring Shopping Bazaar was held upstairs at the Loft within the W Hollywood Hotel. The elevators opened up to a very cool and creative layout full of vendors offering discounts on their merchandise. The head designer for Endless Summer, a brand of floral-inspired dresses and onesies, wanted to gather a group of really cool clothing, jewelry and accessory designers all in one space. The end result was lots of shopping going on with special perks like a free lipstick pout, glam hair styling by Matrix and hand massages by licensed aestheticians representing ULTA Beauty and Dermalogica.
Many ladies were taking full advantage of the opportunity to have hair stylists and makeup artists create a perfect beach wave and lipstick pout for their Saturday night out. Brands like Perverse Eyewear and My Jewel Bar were big draws with sunglasses and necklaces flying off the shelves. Knit swimwear, skater clothing for children and handmade clutches and purses were all attracting crowds. There were desserts abound for the taking while people perused the bazaar.
Many of the vendors had affordability at the forefront of their minds as well. This was really a warm and inviting shopping experience where you could leave feeling like a million bucks at a fraction of the cost. Also on site was a Tarot card reader for those desiring a little extra insight.
Whether it’s awards season or simply gearing up for a summer of music festivals, there’s a need for these shopping bazaars. Hopefully, more will be popping up around the city!
