A perfect blend of flavors makes the Buttermilk Biscuits at Citizen a wonderful starter.

Nestled in the heart of Beverly Hills, Citizen is the latest entry to the fine dining scene in Los Angeles. The contemporary eatery boasts an eclectic craft cocktail list, as well as a delectable menu by Chef Scott Howard. The new hotspot is a breath of fresh air in Beverly Hills with a fun, relaxed vibe along with exquisite cuisine and cocktails.

Chef Scott Howard – who ruled the culinary scene in San Francisco for over a decade – crafted five sections of amazing culinary offerings for Citizen’s menu. Between Table Snacks, Raw, Vegetables, Seafood and Meat, there is truly something for everyone.

The Buttermilk Biscuits, which blend white Sonoma cheddar with ancho jam and chipotle maple syrup, are outstanding. The flavors perfectly compliment each other for a wonderful starter. If seafood is your thing, go for the Spanish Octopus. The combination of tamarind barbecue sauce and corn salad is delicious. The Devil’s Gulch Quail is also a must-try dish for those with an adventurous palette.

Citizen’s cocktail list is one of the most well rounded in Beverly Hills. Josh Goldman of the Soigné Group created a bar program that has everything from classic drinks to tiki cocktails. Goldman’s jovial bar team truly makes you feel like you are sitting in their living room on a Friday night. The Planter’s Punch is a must-try cocktail full of flavor and beautifully presented. From the presentation to the flavors – this will most definitely be a new cocktail haven in Los Angeles, not just Beverly Hills.

Spacecraft Design beautifully overhauled the former Spaghettini and Dave Koz lounge space. The new look includes a gorgeous patio and fire pit that are perfect for outdoor dining and drinking.

The Lucky Seven is Citizen’s Happy Hour program. They offer a selection of food, cocktails and wine for $7 until 7 p.m. – a steal for Beverly Hills. Citizen is the perfect spot for a cocktail, a full meal or Happy Hour. Run, don’t walk, to this essential new hotspot.

Citizen is located at 184 N. Canon Drive, Beverly Hills 90210. For reservations and more information, call (310) 402-5885 or visit
