Burbank Beer Festival returns to downtown Burbank Oct. 21.

If you’re looking for a good time full of ice-cold beers, live music and more, make your way to downtown Burbank later this month for their massive beer fest. The third-annual Burbank Beer Festival & Fall Street Fair is being held Saturday, Oct. 21 from noon to 7 p.m. Surely any beer enthusiast will feel the buzz of excitement from having more than 85 craft beers on tap to choose from.

We aren’t talking about your usual boring/standard run-of-the-mill alcoholic beverages. The event features Angry Horse Brewing, Einstock, Goose Island, Lincoln Beer Company, House Brewing and many more.

For fans of dark, rich and aromatic beer, Poseidon Brewing Co.’s Screw Room Stout will satisfy your needs with its crisp yet smooth taste. Featuring mild caramel notes and strong flavors of chocolate and roasted coffee, the brewery’s creation  is one to add to your list.

If Bloody Mary’s are more your taste, The Bloody Cure will knock you dead with their Bloody Mary Mix + Michelada Mix.

Looking for an IPA? There’s a surplus, but one option is the Immortal IPA by Elysian Brewing. Based in Seattle, the brewery’s IPA is loaded with New World hop flavor and aroma. It melds classic English style with a Northwest interpretation.

Local brewery the Dude’s Brewing company will also be on hand for the day. Known for their Double Trunk Double IPA, which is 9.4 percent ABV, the Double India Pale Ale will definitely stay on your mind.

Tickets can be purchased online for $40 (for session 1) and $45 (for session 2). Tickets include a tasting glass and three-ounce craft beer samples at three different tasting stations. A valid ID is required and, of course, individuals must be 21 years of age or older.

As for the street fair portion, it’s free of charge for all and comes to an end at 7:30 p.m.

For Craft Beer Session 1, it starts at 12 p.m. and ends at 3 p.m. If you’d like to attend later in the day, Session 2 begins at 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Visit for a list of all vendors and breweries.
