Eat|See|Hear Announces 2015 Schedule

Eat|See|Hear, Los Angeles’ premier outdoor movie, food truck and live music event series, recently announced its 2015 schedule with new and nostalgic films presented by Showtime Networks.

Voted “Best Outdoor Movie Series” by Los Angeles Magazine, Eat|See|Hear will kick off its fourth annual series on Saturday, May 9 at Santa Monica High School with Pitch Perfect – just one week before the Barden Bellas return to theaters.

Everyone in attendance will have a chance to win two tickets to the red carpet premiere of Pitch Perfect 2 plus other giveaways, including t-shirts and cups, courtesy of Universal Pictures. Attendees will not only have a chance to walk the red carpet, but will also be entered to win round-trip flights for two to Australia, courtesy of Air New Zealand, this year’s Fashionably Late sponsor.

Eat|See|Hear runs for 19 weeks through September 12 at iconic venues across Los Angeles. Offering a quintessential L.A. outdoor experience for the whole family to enjoy with a picnic and live music, this is also a very dog-friendly movie-viewing environment, welcoming every dog with a free biscuit at the door. Locals and visitors alike will watch classic comedies and contemporary movie favorites on the largest outdoor movie screen on the West Coast, dine on gourmet food truck fare and listen to emerging bands from the local Los Angeles music scene.

Air New Zealand will join Eat|See|Hear this year as the Fashionably Late sponsor and will offer guests the chance to win round-trip flights to London, New Zealand and Australia from the airline’s U.S. gateways throughout the season. Along with the giveaway on opening night, Air New Zealand will be sending two winners to London in honor of Breakfast at Tiffany’s on June 6, and all attendees who purchase Eat|See|Hear tickets online throughout the summer will be entered to win a flight to New Zealand.

“With the overwhelming success and growth of the series, we’re excited to welcome Air New Zealand as an official partner and continue to bring Angelenos together for the city’s best eats, treats, classic and contemporary films and cutting-edge bands to celebrate the summer,” said Sharon Sperber, Executive Producer at Eat|See|Hear. “Plus, we get to enjoy all of this great entertainment outside at some of the most scenic parks and iconic venues right here in L.A.”

Eat|See|Hear will bring back its fun “Christmas in July” celebration on July 25 with Love Actually, and the night will include dozens of Santas, as well as holiday decorations, raffles and a donation drive for Best Friends Animal Society – Los Angeles, which will receive a portion of the proceeds and bring adoptable animals to several events with the “Rent a Mutt” program.

Featuring the largest inflatable movie screen west of the Mississippi, Eat|See|Hear offers an unrivaled outdoor movie experience thanks to the highest-quality HD-projection with a 52-foot wide image with state-of-the-art line-array sound. Prior to each movie local up-and-coming bands will perform live, and popular food trucks will provide great bites and drinks to round out the fun – over 110 different trucks throughout the season – capturing what L.A. does best: food, music, movies and beautiful scenery.

Tickets are $12 in advance, and a limited number of tickets will be available at the door for $14 (cash or credit card). Air New Zealand “Fashionably Late” tickets will be available online for $20, which is a premium reserved and desirable area of the venue. Parking varies from venue to venue, so guests are encouraged to check the event website for specific parking info prior to each event.
